      Glassblower Hermann Traut establishes the company Herrmann Traut in Neuhaus am Rennweg (Thuringia, Germany) specialised in glass pipettes and other glass products. The division of Germany causes Hermann Traut to relocate the company headquarters from Thuringia to the Coburg region in Bavaria. As one of the first manufacturers for pharmacy needs, Hermann Traut adds screw caps, spatulas and brushes to the product portfolio; they are made from the novel material plastic.

      In the meantime, HEIM Pharma Tropfsysteme has developed into a world market leader for pipette assemblies and metering systems.
